  • Do not allow every permission blindly and access the permission manager to scrutinize permissions granted to each app to prevent data misuse
  • Read each permission request carefully and allow only what is genuinely required for that app’s purpose. Also do not share contact and location access if not required.

For example, a torch app does not need access to contacts or a simple utility app like calendar does not need access to SMS or microphone.

  • Handle Unused Apps Proactively: If any application remains unused for 2 or more months, uninstall it completely and reinstall only when required to minimize security risks and free up resources

Pro Tip for all SMART PHONE USERS:

  • Set Emergency SOS: Upto 4 contacts can be set as emergency contacts. Go to Settings – Safety & Emergency – Emergency Contacts – Add contacts.
  • This feature triggers calls or messages to these emergency contacts by pressing power button multiple times.

PART 3: CONCLUSION

Mobile applications can make daily life simpler, faster, and more organised. When we choose the right apps and use them carefully, they improve convenience and reduce paperwork. At the same time, digital safety depends not only on the app, but also on how we use it. A little awareness while selecting and setting up apps can protect you from fraud and help you enjoy the true benefits of digital life.
