President’s Communication – October, 2026
Dear Friends,
October brings with it another busy phase for us as professionals. With the extended deadline for filing tax audit reports, the original deadline for clients covered by transfer pricing provisions, along with various ROC compliances and quarterly results for listed companies, the next few weeks are going to be equally demanding.
These recurring deadlines also remind us that it is imperative to look beyond simply working harder. It is time to work smarter. Technology and automation can help us streamline routine processes, reduce manual effort and allow us to focus more on analysis, advice and adding value to our clients. I believe this is an area we must consciously embrace as a profession.
October also brings the festive spirit of Navratri. To add to the celebrations, CVOCA has arranged special discounted passes for members at Raas Rang, Ghatkopar. I encourage members to take advantage of this initiative and enjoy the festivities with family and friends.
Our endeavour to connect with society also continues. CVOCA will be participating in Vyapaar Utsav, hosted by JYF and Kutch Mitra, where we will conduct a special financial awareness session for visitors. I am happy that our professional knowledge can also be used to create greater financial awareness in the community.
This month also marks the beginning of our area-wise awareness programme on Wills and Succession Planning. The first session will be held at Matunga on 17th October, where we will also officially release our booklet on the subject. I look forward to seeing many of you there and hope we can take this important message to more families across our community.
Looking ahead, outdoor and indoor sports activities are planned for November and December. More details will follow shortly, so stay tuned.
