President’s Communication
Dear Professional Colleagues,
As we end the financial year 2025-26 which posed many challenges due to ever changing technological and artificial intelligence landscape, global wars and its impact on energy crisis, Indian rupee hitting the new lows, we as chartered accountants are well equipped to navigate these challenges and help the institutions that we guide to overcome such challenges.
April not just marks the commencement of a new financial year, but a renewed opportunity to realign our professional goals and reinforce our commitments. The Chartered Accountant profession stands at a pivotal juncture. Increasing regulatory scrutiny, evolving tax and compliance frameworks, and the rapid integration of technology, especially in areas such as data analytics and automation, are reshaping the landscape. Alongside these changes, our ethical responsibilities as trusted advisors remain paramount. As we celebrate Mahavir Jayanti, let Tirthankar Mahavir’s teachings inspire us as professionals towards ethical conduct and inner strength.
Some of the key professional updates in our fields are ICAI will come out with Information Systems Audit Standards (ISAS) seeking to strengthen audit process within the country’s digital ecosystem. Around 11 ISAS will be issued. In the age of AI and data protection, such standards will help in strengthening the audit process. ICAI has also notified its much-awaited global networking guidelines enabling domestic chartered accountant firms to collaborate with international networks. The development is significant amid the Central Government’s broader push to build large Indian accounting firms capable of competing with global peers.
Over the past few months, our Association has continued to make meaningful strides. From insightful study circle meetings to high-impact public programs for the community at large to engaging networking forums, we have collectively fostered an environment of learning and collaboration. Our initiatives aimed at community outreach and knowledge sharing have further strengthened the Association’s role as a responsible and forward-thinking professional body.
Forthcoming Events at CVOCA:
I urge each one of you to stay engaged with the Association, invest in continuous learning, and actively contribute your expertise. The strength of our fraternity lies in our collective knowledge and shared commitment to excellence. Looking ahead, we have an exciting calendar of programs, workshops, and collaborative initiatives. I encourage all members to participate wholeheartedly, not only to enhance their own capabilities but also to contribute to the growth of our community.
Let us move forward with unity, resilience, and a shared vision to elevate our profession to greater heights.
Thank You,

CA Harsh Dedhia
