President’s Communication

Dear Friends,

It is with great gratitude and humility that I write my first communication as President of CVOCA.

I sincerely thank each one of you for the trust and confidence reposed in me. For over fourteen years, CVOCA has been an integral part of my professional journey. It has given me mentors, lifelong friendships, opportunities to learn and, above all, a sense of belonging. To now have the privilege of leading this wonderful Association is truly humbling. I look forward to working alongside all of you as we continue to build on the strong foundation laid by our predecessors.

Our theme for the year “Empowered by Tech – Driven by Values” is centred around preparing ourselves for the future while remaining rooted in the values of our profession. Our endeavour is simple yet meaningful—to help every member stay relevant, stay future-ready and discover newer avenues of professional growth.

The year has already begun on an encouraging note. The Value Investing Club successfully commenced its journey with an insightful session on the Chemical Sector. Our Student Programme on Income Tax Return Filing witnessed enthusiastic participation from aspiring professionals, while the Residential Refresher Course for Young Chartered Accountants combined learning, networking and camaraderie in the true spirit of CVOCA.

The enthusiasm of our members has been truly heartening. Our Family Monsoon Picnic at Foresta Resort, Mulshi has received an overwhelming response, with registrations crossing 120 participants, including family members and children. We also look forward to welcome our newly qualified members at the Orientation Programme on 9th July, as they begin an exciting new chapter in their professional lives.

As we move ahead, my request to each one of you is simple—stay connected, participate actively and continue sharing your ideas with us. The strength of CVOCA has always been its members, and together we can make this year meaningful not just through programmes, but through the relationships we build, the knowledge we share and the difference we create.

I look forward to meeting many of you personally at our upcoming events.
